1. Letter of Offer
After a successful course application, the education provider issues an offer outlining the course, fees and enrolment conditions.
2. Confirmation of Enrolment – CoE
After accepting the offer and completing the provider’s required enrolment steps, the student receives a Confirmation of Enrolment.
A CoE is required for the Student visa application.
3. English Language Evidence
Applicants may need to demonstrate the required level of English proficiency.
4. Genuine Student Requirement
Applicants must demonstrate that studying in Australia is the primary reason for applying for a Student visa.
The Genuine Student assessment considers factors including the applicant’s circumstances, education history, proposed course, provider, reasons for studying in Australia and how the qualification may benefit their future.
5. Financial Capacity
Applicants may need to demonstrate sufficient funds for applicable tuition, travel and living expenses.
6. Overseas Student Health Cover – OSHC
International students generally need suitable Overseas Student Health Cover for the required period of stay.
7. Health and Character Requirements
Health examinations or character documents may be required depending on the applicant.
